New Project

So, now that I've graduated and the job hunt goes on I was thinking of starting a series just for the heck of it and I can always have good stuff for my portfolio. So I want to do my favorite literary characters. I was just looking at the site heyoscarwilde.com and want to practice using characters that mean a lot to me. Might do different mediums for each just because. I don't know.
So here's the list of some I was thinking of doing:

-Lestat, Marius, Armand, and possibly Louis from Anne Rice
-I'd like to do my own versions of the Fellowship from Tolkien (I did pics from the movies during high school, and while that was fun and I was obsessed I want to draw my own hobbits)
-Aslan (I know I've done him once for a project but that was Jaslan- Jesus/Aslan, and was based on an article), Reepicheep, and Puzzle from Narnia.
-Taran and Eilonwy, Fflewddur Fflam and Gurgi from The Chronicles of Prydain.
-Matthias from Redwall.
-Harry Potter characters are a given.
-The main characters from Mercedes Lackey's Elemental Masters Series and the 500 Kingdoms series.
-I want to do pictures of Dune in general.
- Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.
-could do Wicked as well. Elphaba and Galinda.
- Dracula would be fun.
-Merry Gentry from Laurell K. Hamilton.
-The Incarnations of Immortality from Piers Anthony.
-Death from Discword, also Carrot.
-The Childlike Empress, Falcor, Atreyu and possibly Bastian from the Neverending Story.
-The Phantom Tolbooth.
